Me:

Hi, I am Nicco, I live in Tipi Valley about 40 minutes away from the makerspace. I am administering the computers in the space, created this forum and a GitHub organization - I am firm in programming, a bit of electronics. I like working with wood and hope to learn more about building with metal. I like the space because it is creative and I can meet so many nice and interesting people here. Generally, I like community building and non-violent communication, energetic work and magic :magic_wand:.

I would like to know:

  • What brings you here?
  • What would you like to share?
  • Where would you like to bring or see the makerspace in future?

I am Dom, I am the Community Makerspace Engagement Technician. I work for Cwmaman Town Council and administer the space.

My special interests are 3D design, automation and machining, but I try to know a little about everything.

I enjoy restoring old tools, making my own, building CNC and comupter controllers and preserving food.

I’ve made a couple of knives and rehandled a couple of axes. I have an old drawknife that needs repairing, hopefully you could give me some advice. I would also love to make a Froe one day so I can make my own Shingles. I also preserve food. I just made some pretty good chutney and use a dehydrator to make food for camping and hiking. :axe:
